Indigo Blue
The DevOps Pathfinder Report.

My role
Designed and artworked Indigo Blue’s DevOps Pathfinder report, including all supporting graphics and custom icons, using a mountaineering metaphor to guide readers through a clear, structured transformation narrative.
Project Overview
I was engaged to design and artwork The DevOps Pathfinder report for Indigo Blue—an in-depth guide aimed at business leaders navigating complex DevOps transformations. Framed around a mountaineering analogy, the report positioned each phase of the journey as part of an ascent to a strategic "summit."
The creative challenge was to bring clarity to technical content while visually reinforcing the journey-based narrative.
Design & Layout
Working within Indigo Blue’s brand framework, I developed a clean, structured layout to support long-form reading across print and digital formats. Typography was selected for both clarity and tone, with a clear hierarchy that guided readers through key phases and insights.
A key part of the design was the development of a custom set of icons and visual assets to support the mountaineering theme. I created all graphics used throughout the report—including stage markers, progress visuals, and chapter illustrations—ensuring they were stylistically consistent and meaningfully supported the content.
Pull quotes and highlighted takeaways were introduced as visual markers, echoing the idea of a trail or path, and giving readers clear entry points into more complex sections.
Client Collaboration & Delivery
I worked closely with Indigo Blue’s editorial and leadership teams to ensure content flow, visual tone and message clarity aligned. This included multiple content and design iterations, art direction of supporting assets, and close attention to print and digital readability.
The final report was delivered fully artworked, ready for digital distribution and print production—a professional, cohesive piece that communicated complex strategy through accessible, narrative-led design.
